For Maria, Mom, and Barbra...my blog readers/supporters/biotches lol

Okay ladies, this is a boring update...just for you!!
School is going good. I now have week 2 under my belt. The push is on to be through in 5 months. Wish me luck on that. CNA starts Saturday the 22nd. When that is done, I'm gonna work on coding...I think.
Jeremy's fiance arrived from Australia on Thursday. She's such a sweetheart and I could hear his smile over the phone. LOL It's as bad as Mom and Dad I think. All gushing on each other.
Grandma Reed passed away on Friday. As sad as it is I'm glad she is no longer suffering, and Grandpa's suffering is over as well. She hadn't been herself in over a year, and she no longer recognized him.
Today was the huge yard sale. It went really well and my house is once again decluttered. (yeah yeah, except for my desk WHICH is a genetic trait I got from my darling mother.) I sold some crappy mattress, that everyone expected us to be stuck with, for $2.00. WOOHOO go me. The only thing I don't understand about the day is how I got sunburned while freezing my butt off. My already red cheeks are so sore.
Well that's all from the life of the boring. I did get my hair cut this week, and bought some new nail polish. My toe-flowers are still in perfect shape which makes me happy, but my fingers need some attention.
Gonna fold some kiddy clothes while watching PS I Love You Hey, I told you my life is boring.

Grandma Dorothy Reed passed away yesterday, 11/14/08

My duck-billed Platypus

As anyone knows, I'm not a Oprah watcher. I'm not into talk shows or soaps. Just not my thing, unless it has something to pertain to me. Last week was a show on child predators. Yeah, I watched that one. This is from one on Warrior Mothers. Jenny McCarthy has a son with autism and Her boyfriend, Jim Carrey, wrote a chapter in her book. This is a segment of what he said that just left me in tears.

Jim says women should keep in mind what they do want—not what they don't want—from a partner. "If you go around saying, 'It's impossible. No one will ever love me. A good man is hard to find,' then you're saying to the universe that you don't believe in abundance," he says. "This universe that created the stars, galaxies, Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and the duck-billed platypus is quite capable of finding someone for you that has the capacity to love you, no matter what your situation is."If you convince yourself that you deserve to be loved, Jim says it can—and will—happen.
