Okay so I'm not really sure if today qualifies as an emo day or not....
Kids started school today. The excitement ran wild this morning. I got to come home and do some housework before going back to bed for a little (2 hour!!) nap. Wow I was so drained. I got up and began to fiddle on the pc.
I talked to my friend Loni in NY. She writes the funnies posts on her blog. She is one of those people who are really rays of sunshine. *HUGGLES LONI*
I'm contemplating not going to school this semester (Which amazes me after the HELL I went through to get in.) I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be best for me to work pt during the morning hours, and then full time at night. Pay off some odd and ends, as well as saving some. Lately I feel like I need to have that security egg more and more. I know that if I had my assoc. I could make more money while working on my bachelors. What to do, what to do... (I feel like I'm living my mother's old life.)
I talked to B today and I was not as uplifting as I should have been. Ms. Realist strikes again. I figure there are somethings you can't help people with. Support them YES, really help no. Hopefully I am sooo very very wrong.
My poor sister Maria called and got the full load of drama. More like the entire family drama and not just mine. I think that's enough to send anyone back to bed.
So this is what I'm thinking...

EMO DAY!!!
"Worry is Not Preparation"
It does no good to worry all the time. Seems like we live in the "time of worry". It's too bad. I think it's because we know too much. We hear about every single thing that goes wrong in the world and we start to think it could happen to us. Worry is not preparation. It does no good. It takes away your joy and quite frankly, shows a lack of faith. The Lord isn't going to let something happen in our life that won't help us grow and achieve some sort of greater happiness in the end. I truly believe that. I don't think that means we're immune to pain and suffering and loss. Those things happen. They're supposed to happen. So if hese things are ulitmately good (though sometimes almost impossible to get through) why do we spend so much time worrying?
I guess that's my biggest problem. I'm trying to plan for preperation and struggling to know the right path to take. Guess I need to stop worrying and just go with my gut. *Hugs* Melly

The Road Less Traveled
"Dependency may appear to be love because it is a force that causes people to
attach themselves to one another. But in actuality it is not love; it is a form
of anti-love. It seeks to receive rather than to give. It nourishes
infantilism rather than growth, it ultimately destroys rather than builds.
It is not love when you require another individual for your survival.
Instead you are a parasite on that other person, there is no choice, no freedom,
involved in your relationship. It is a necessity rather than love."

I'm Jasmine!!
Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate.
